Job Description: Your main responsibility will be to perform acceptance tests of space propulsion flight hardware with an option to develop into in-orbit operations support of space missions.

• Being part of our outstanding production team specifically the acceptance test team
• Testing of electric space propulsion systems and testing of development and flight hardware
• Working with vacuum systems for testing
• Document and analyze thruster behavior and telemetry and derive operation instructions
• Work in an agile environment and collaborate with product managers and the engineering team to conduct development tests
• Option for career development into customer support for in-space missions

Your qualifications:

• Academic education
• 3+ years of experience with laboratory testing
• An understanding of and experience in the space or aerospace industry is an advantage
• Knowledge in plasma physics or space environment
• Experience with vacuum systems and/or in-orbit operations is an advantage

We look for a proactive, diligent, disciplined, motivated person with the ability to handle complex situations and devise solving strategies. An in-depth understanding of the English language is a must. Knowledge in Python is desirable.

Type of contract: Full time position; 38.5 hours/week

Salary: This position entails a gross salary according to the collective bargaining agreement (minimum EUR 3.219,17) and may significantly increase based on qualification and experience.
