EnduroSat and ENPULSION sign a contract for the delivery of 100 propulsion systems

Vienna, Austria and Sofia, Bulgaria, 27 November – EnduroSat and ENPULSION signed a contract for the delivery of 100 fully integrated electric propulsion systems. The first 30 to are to be delivered in the next 12 months, including an initial batch due by the end of year. EnduroSat and ENPULSION are working together to promote the sustainable uses of orbital with spacecraft with maneuverability capacity and allow more innovative business models to thrive in the near-earth economy.

Faster space service at a fixed cost

EnduroSat designs, builds, and operates exceptional satellites, streamlining space missions in Low Earth Orbit (LEO) and beyond. The company manages every step from mission design to launch and operations, serving over 350 customers globally and employing more than 200 space professionals across 6 locations worldwide. EnduroSat deployed its first satellite in 2018 and has delivered more than 60 spacecraft to date.

More than 200 propulsion systems and 100% production capacity increase

With more than 200 propulsion systems in space, and a cumulative on-orbit time of over 450 years, ENPULSION’s Field Emission Electric Propulsion (FEEP) technology has become one of the most mature and robust space propulsion technologies in the industry. In the first quarter of 2024 the company has doubled the capacity of its serial production to meet the increasing demand for short and reliable lead times.

With ENPULSION’s new 4,000 sqm (43,000 sqft) facilities the company has doubled its capacity in emitter manufacturing and has additional space to increase its whole manufacturing capacity by 100%. The company has taken additional actions to further increase capacity (vacuum chambers and several other long lead-time items are already ordered). ENPULSION’s 150 sqm (1,600 sqft) clean room is also prepared for an additional 100% capacity increase – an industry-leading capability.
