Meet Dr. David Krejci

About David

David is a Research Associate at MIT and a key contributor to Enpulsion’s propulsion expertise. He holds an M.S. in Applied Physics (2008) and a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering (2012) from the Vienna University of Technology, as well as an M.A. in Political Science from the University of Vienna.

Before joining Enpulsion, David served as a Research Scientist in MIT’s Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics, where he focused on the design and characterization of micromachined ionic liquid electrospray thrusters and contributed to multiple flight experiments. Prior to that, he worked at FOTEC and the Austrian Institute of Technology, developing a range of electric and chemical propulsion systems, including green bi-propellant thrusters and pulsed plasma thrusters for CubeSats.

In between his research roles, David took time to travel the world, writing post-doc grant proposals along the way and seeking out sunny beaches whenever possible. His deep technical knowledge, hands-on experience, and global perspective continue to inform Enpulsion’s leading-edge propulsion solutions.
